Sharon Stone has revealed she’s been blocked from popular dating app, Bumble.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the Golden Globe winner, 61, confessed that she had been using the site to find love, but had been kicked out because no one believed it was really her using the app.

The mother-of-three made a public plea to the company to reinstate her account as she quipped, ‘Don't shut me out of the hive’.

WHAT IS BUMBLE?

In same-sex matches either person can send a message first.

The app has three modes – Date, for relationships, Bizz for professional networking and BFF to find friendship.

Bumble was set up in 2014 and is now valued at more than $1 billion

Dating app Bumble was founded in 2014 and prides itself on empowering women by giving them a safer environment and letting them make the first move.

When a pair match on the app, it is up to the woman to message the man first or the connection expires.

According to Forbes, the company is valued at more than $1 billion, and has over 55 million users.

Sharon was last linked to Angelo Boffa, 42, with the pair dating for nine months before they split in October last year.

The twice-divorced showbiz legend was first married to TV producer Michael Greenburg, with the couple tying the knot just months after meeting on the set of The Vegas Strip War in 1984.

The couple separated three years later, and their divorce was finalized in 1990.

On Valentine’s Day [February 14] 1998, Sharon married Phil Bronstein, newspaper executive and two years later they adopted son Roan, now 19.

Sharon and Phil divorced in early 2004 after six years of marriage, and the actress later went on to adopt sons Laird, 14, and 13-year-old Quinn and raise them as a single mother.

Back in 2018, Sharon insisted that she won’t ever allow herself to be ‘defined’ by a man.

Speaking to Grazia magazine, she said: ‘I was just not that girl who was told that a man would define me.

‘I was told that if I wanted to have a man in my life, it wouldn’t be an arrangement, it would be an actual partnership. And those are hard to find.’

Sharon added: ‘Having three kids certainly will change your reality. And I think that not trying to be a girl and allowing yourself to be a grown-up woman is also very helpful.’

Sharon is certainly not short of offers, however, and previously admitted that she had several younger men chasing after her.

She told More magazine: ‘I really get pursued by men in their 20s, like a lot. They probably know there’s food in the fridge and that somebody’s going to talk to them and ask them how their day was.’

Despite being inundated with offers, Sharon revealed that she wasn’t taking them up on it.

‘Life and love is like the ocean,’ she said. ‘Sometimes the tide is in and sometimes the tide is out, and sometimes it’s like the frigging Mojave.

‘Where’s the tide now? For me? Mojave! Fortunately, I like the desert. I’m a desert flower.’
